Heart Research

I did this a couple of months back for a friend of mine and forgot to post on the old bloggy.

Everything was hand-drawn and scanned in (including the type). The event was in aid of

Yorkshire based charity Heart Research.

a bike ride

Well! The weather can only be described as sexy at the moment, so I thought I better get out there. I routed one of my bikes out, dusted it off and sprayed the rusty chain with some spray I found in a bucket. It turned in to a mini-common-british-wildlife-safari. A Heron, sheep with lambs, cows drinking, a dead cat. I'd like to say I saw deer hopping through the woods but..it didn't happen.

I forgot how PAINFUL my bike saddle is and how it's not really appropriate to wear little white pumps when you're power biking along a canal. But Horaaay it's summer!

The Garden

I thought it was about time my little dog featured in my illustrations so I did this painting last week. I've tried to capture his all-round plumpness!

Dot Dove

 

We have two doves who visit our garden daily, Obviously we named them Dot and David Dove,  so I thought it was about time they featured in some of my work! Here's Dot..

Hello 2011

Happy New Year peeps! Very excited about what 2011 will bring!

Had a nice rest over Christmas and New Year, which involved a lot of eating and drinking and sitting.

Now it's time to throw myself in to my work, but I love it so that's ok.
